Hi! Madeline’s Sewing Store USA is now CLOSED. No longer will I post on here, sell things, or anything else. Want to know why? Because………….

WE HAVE MOVED!!!!!!!!!

To a brand new site! I will do it with my friend Ally who also loves to sew. It’s called Sewing Sisters! It’s much better…

We are going to move from WordPress and go on to Blogger and Etsy, which will work better for us. Our Etsy store is open, but not yet has anything on it. We also have a new email and site. UPDATE!!!! REALLY IMPORTANT (GOOD) NEWS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF MADELINE’S SEWING STORE USA!

Hey everybody! I hope you are having a nice weekend! Anyway, I have some really big news.

Having a sewing store all by yourself can be tricky. Especially if you are still a “beginner” sewer compared to the others out there. So, Madeline’s Sewing Store USA™  has decided to team up with another friend named Ally. We hope to make a site and maybe a Youtube Channel about sewing, and a BIGGER BETTER sewing store. I am getting lots of orders at the same time and it’s hard sometimes to fufill them at the time the customer wants them, since I don’t spend my whole life in front of the sewing machine, I do lots of other things. I hope you understand! But here’s all the benifits:
You will probably have more things to choose from and buy
Things will probably get to you sooner
There will be more fun to explore

We may call it “Sewing Sisters” or something like that, and we will tell you where you can find it. All things that are already on this site (guide to sewing, shop, about us,etc.) will still be available on our new site, but with other awesome things.
When you order something, you will not get to choose who sews your project. However, let’s say Ally’s Grandma orders something, then it will be Ally-made, since we know how special Grandmas treasure things like that. Same goes with a really close friend who doesn’t even know who the other person is, etc. But if you are just a person ordering something, you will not get to choose. However,  when you get your order in, you will find a tag signed by the maker, so then you get to know who made it. We don’t want competition or anything to start between us, so that’s the way things will be.

We hopefully can work on our brand-new-site this weekend, but after we are done with it and have it up, I am leaving this site.  But don’t get upset, we will tell you how to get to our new site when it’s up.

For now we ask to not order anything until this matter clears up. However, you can still browse this site and comment and look at the things we offer so maybe you can order them on our new site.

A Day In the Life Of An 11-Year Old Sewing Girl

Hey how are you guys? I’m great. Anyway, yesterday  I went home with one of my best friends Ally, whom you will probably hear a lot about since she sews too and we get together a lot to make crafts and things like that. I went home with her yesterday because Thursday is sewing day! For me it used to be on Tuesdays but I started doing dance on Tuesdays so I had to change it. Fortunatley, I get to be in Ally’s class!  I finished the base of my doll that I am making (see “What I am Making In Sewing Classes” page) and so did Ally. So we had a great time and I met two new sewing friends named Olivia and another girl but I forget her name! Sew Anyway, I’m going to the store this weekend to get like lace and lettering and ribbon and pretty fabrics to make people things for Valentine’s Day. I am going to be making lacey hearts for my class and friends I think and pretty things for my teachers too!!!! So what kinds of things will you be making for Valentine’s Day? You can send in pictures of your projects and I will post them up here!!! Thank you and have a great day!!!!

Hey everyone! My name is Madeline and most of you may know me from my American Girl Doll blog, or from somewhere else.
Ok, so this is my first official post so let me introduce you to myself. My name is Madeline and I am an 11-year-old Christian girl in the 5th grade. I love collecting and blogging with my American Girl Dolls and love to post their adventures on my blog! I love to write, read, SEW, hang out with friends, dancing, and more.
And here is a little about this site.
This is a website of my sewing store I decided to open in school one day. You can order things that I make homemade and all kinds of aewing-related news will be posted here, anf I may even have give aways sometime. I won’t be posting every other week like I do with my blog but I will ahve everything up here for you to explore and look at!
